About the Lunch Omakase Singapore Experience at Miyu
Miyu’s lunch omakase Singapore menus offer an accessible entry into authentic Japanese omakase dining at Dempsey Hill, Dempsey Road. Crafted by Executive Chef Owner Ng Kam Kwan — with over 22 years of Japanese culinary experience — the lunch counter brings the same seasonal precision and Edomae sensibility as the dinner service, at a price point that makes premium Japanese cuisine more accessible.
Three lunch omakase menus are available daily. The 毅 ~ YURI ($128) is a focused sushi course: seasonal appetiser, chawanmushi, ten pieces of omakase nigiri crafted by Chef Kwan, tamago, soup, and dessert — a beautifully balanced counter experience. The 涵 ~ HASU ($168) expands the progression with oyster, two kinds of seasonal sashimi, a hot course, and a signature toro-uni hand roll. The 赤 ~ AKA ($168) is a thoughtfully designed cooked-food lunch omakase for guests who prefer prepared courses, featuring tempura, chawanmushi, a hot dish, a handroll, dobinmushi, and dessert — no raw seafood required.
All lunch omakase menus use seasonal Japanese ingredients air-flown fresh from Toyosu Market each week. Dinner omakase menus — AKAIBARA ($228), MIYU ($238), and Chef’s Omakase ($278) — are also available at the lunch sitting for guests who wish for a more extensive experience. Premium A4/A5 Wagyu is available on request.
Miyu has been serving lunch omakase in Singapore at Dempsey Hill since 2019. Lunch service runs Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 3pm (last order 1.30pm). As seats are limited, reservations at least one week in advance are recommended. Reserve via our reservations page or WhatsApp us at +65 8028 3168.
